ENGLISH VERSION: We, the People of Puerto Rico USA, based in the free exercise of our Commonwealth constitutional rights; call for the 2026 destitution and replacement of the current FMOB, Governor and her appointed Cabinet members.

On August 2026, Governor Jennifer González Colón declared a "State of Emergency" for a lack of potable water service.  The People of Puerto Rico were suffering lack of water; long before emergency declaration. Water crisis root cause is not a drought- as Governor suggested. It is due to Governor's & Cabinet incompetence, corruption, violations of RICO ACT, environmental crimes such as destruction of Natural Reserves & Resources; mismanagement of both water & electric energy company agreements; plus; no timely intervention from the FMOB. Current Governor & her appointed Cabinet have also shown disregard to the limited growth of local economy; and failed to reach balanced budgets for FMOB approval and failed to comply with  their 2024 Elections campaign commitments. 

On top of this, the FMOB have not provided fiscalization the during recurrent water, energy and economic crisis. Since current government members do not show competence to solve essential water, electric services and economic turmoil; we call for destitution and replacement to stabilize our local economy, avoid further complications and guarantee all puertoricans a better quality standard of life. 

We, the People of PR; in democratic majority, call for the destitution and replacement of the following:

1.  FMOB Fiscal Management Oversight Board [JUNTA FISCAL] members;

2.  Governor Jenniffer González Colón and;

3. González Colón appointed Cabinet members. 

After destitution of current corrupt government members; the People of PR, call for a temporary US Senate or government delegates to resolve water; electric energy and govern the remaining part of the 4 year term - from destitution date until regular 2028 Elections.  We understand that after resolving these administrative issues first; PR will be on the right track for the upcoming official 2024 Elections.

SPANISH VERSION: Nosotros, el PUEBLO de Puerto 🇵🇷 RICO, en el ejercicio libre de nuestros derechos garantizados por la Constitucion del Estado Libre Asociado de PR; hacemos una llamada al Senado y Gobierno de USA a la destitucion y  reemplazo de la Gobernadora Jenniffer González Colón y  los miembros del Gabinete nombrados por la misma; asi como los miembros actuales de la Junta Fiscal. 

En Agosto 2026, la Gobernadora declaro a PR en un Estado de Emergencia. El PUEBLO de PR ha estado sufriendo de los servicios esenciales de agua potable y electricidad debido a la incompetencia,  corrupcion, violaciones al RICO ACT, y destruccion de Recursos / Reservas  Naturales. Ademas; el Gobierno actual ha limitado las oportunidades economicas y ha fallado en  cumplir las promesas de su campaña durante Elecciones 2024.

Por este medio; convocamos al Gobierno de US a la destitucion y reemplazo de:

1. La Junta Fiscal [FMOB]

2. La Gobernadora Jenniffer González Colón; y

3. El Gabinete electo por la Gobernadora. 

Luego de la destitucion; el Pueblo de PR propone que, una delegacion temporera del Gobierno de USA administre hasta las Elecciones 2028. Entendemos que en primer lugar, se maneje la crisis de agua potable y energia electrica; y luego proceder a seleccionar un gobierno local en las Elecciones regulares de 2028.  Agradecemos que se garantice este llamado del Pueblo de PR en cumplimiento de nuestro derecho democratico; garantizado  en nuestra Constitucion del Estado Libre Asociado de PR de tener un Gobierno justo y que proteja el bienestar del Pueblo de PR.
