As upcoming drivers, we are worried about the state of our roads. The classes of '24-'27 are learning how to drive and we want to make sure that we have safer roads to drive on. Our current road conditions in Delaware are showing great risk in our hopes.

Potholes are not just an inconvenience; they are a safety hazard. According to AAA, potholes cause approximately $3 billion in damage to vehicles annually across the United States (AAA, 2016). These damages can lead to costly repairs and even accidents. 

We would like The Department Of Transportation to prioritize filling these potholes as soon as possible. We believe that this is not only crucial for the safety of new drivers but all drivers in Delaware.

We would like to make the roads safer for everyone by making sure this issue is prioritized. Please sign this petition urging The Department Of Transportation to take immediate action on filling potholes in Delaware.
