August 2018 was the month that Post Foods discontinued the one of a kind cereal Waffle Crisp. For those of us who had the honor of knowing this great cereal, our hearts ache at the thought of never tasting those maple flavored, crisscrossed little waffles again. Never in the history of cereal has there been a better combination than those maple syrup-flavored corn cereal bits shaped like waffles soaking in a cold bowl of milk. And now? They are gone. 

The good news? It is not too late to do something about it. I am calling for all of those late night cereal eaters. Whether you are a parent who eats Waffle Crisp after a long hard day with the kids, or a student who eats Waffle Crisp to stay awake while studying, or a kid who can't wait to wake up and start their day with dozens of tiny waffle bites swimming in a pool of ice cold milk, whoever and wherever you are, please help me bring back Waffle Crisps! 

There is a lot of bad in the world right now and we do not need any more hopelessness or despair. So please Post Foods, bring back the Waffle Crisps and let a little bit of goodness back into the world. Do it.....for Waffle Boy.
