Poshmark is a fantastic platform for people looking to downsize their own closets and professional resellers.

It is socially driven which is great because you receive a ton of community support. One caveat to this is that one must constantly share their items. Sharing keeps your items relevant and present in the algorithm. Without constantly sharing your items, making consistent sales is very difficult.

Poshmark doesn’t allow the use of automation or participation bots on their platform. This means that you can’t use any type of automated software to share your items, like items, or follow accounts. The use of bots can cost you the ability to sell on the platform. Many of us have turned to virtual assistance to help us share the items so that it could free up some of our time. Sometimes we pay upwards of $200 a month to get the services. And it has come to light that these virtual assistants are actually using automated software thus putting our accounts are risk.  So we’re not only struggling with the fact that we have to share our closets all day everyday but now we’re being defrauded from these VA companies.

In addition to being extremely time consuming and inefficient, excessive sharing can be harmful. Constantly clicking can cause issues like carpal tunnel and tendinitis. Either of those will hinder your abilities and processing times. So this is yet another thing that will ultimately diminish your success.

The purpose of this petition is to show Poshmark how many individuals would like to see a change regarding closet sharing.  We’d like Poshmark to make some changes so that the platform is more user-friendly and either allow automation or change the way the sharing is done. If the sharing could be done in done in bulk or small groups,  it would make the process much more efficient.
