As we pass 1,000 supporters, it's important we take the time to consider why we really need these cameras.

Another example of body cameras showing injustice. How are we to hold our police accountable if they do not hold themselves accountable? Body cameras shows this mans guilt, proved police brutality. These cameras can also show brutality to police.

"RCSD has a policy that body camera footage must be reviewed when use of force is reported -- but that didn’t happen in this case." Any use of force, or any arrests, should have body camera footage.

Sheriff Leon Lott said, "It's our job to be transparent and be upfront... the reason why we have these cameras, is to monitor our deputies and activities... we need to do a better job and that's what we are going to do... You only use force that is necessary, and that was not necessary... This is what people are protesting about, and we need to make sure we don't let this happen". Every PD in America can take a page out of the book of this  Sheriff. They had body cameras, and they brought justice to a corrupt officer. It was ignored for months, co-workers not reporting it, but it did eventually come to light. Even with cameras we have to fight for justice, but cameras are the first step.
