We have made it to almost 1,000 supporters, four digits. By the time anyone reads this we may have already passed that number - I hope. Thank you for EVERYONE who signed this petition, every person who shared, every person that left a comment, and every number represents one of US. 

This petition started with just one person, yelling at the internet for accountability, and now it is so much more. I'm very proud we made it this far, I hope we continue to grow and make it further. Portsmouth has at least taken some notice, and whether they like it or not, a lot of demand accountability. Somehow this needs to work, and our city needs to make it work. Find the money, make room in your budget. 

Cameras are not free, we know - but they could save a life, or bring justice to those accused, and those who wear them. It only seems fair that police move with the times, and the times of 2020 call for accountability in our police. The time is now - a camera on every officer while on active duty. On watch at all times, as you watch us at all times. It only seems just, and fair. The only right choice is forward, and with accountability.
