Today Portland State University decided to cancel the in-person commencement ceremony in June and move it to a virtual platform. This is a hard kick in the teeth to all the seniors who have worked hard to graduate, only to be given no option but to graduate online. We were not asked what we would like to do, they just went ahead and decided for us. That’s why I created this petition, to demand that PSU postpones the ceremony to a later date rather than canceling it outright. 

Please stand with me and the hundreds of other graduating seniors to tell PSU to postpone graduation to a later date, so that we may not have this accomplishment stolen away from us.
