In these uncertain and ever-changing times, disaster and emergency preparedness could literally mean the difference between life and death.

As a parent and concerned member of my community, an issue that constantly concerns me is being prepared in the event of a natural or unnatural disaster that could cause vulnerable communities and families to lose electricity.

Recent global climate changes have caused an array of catastrophic events that are impossible for me to ignore. 

The purpose of this petition is to bring awareness to the importance of proactivity versus reactivity in the event of a weather-related crisis. Preparing individual families in underserved communities by providing them with free portable solar-powered generators and prepping for emergency situations before they ever occur.
