Mia Khalifa has started a petition to get all of her adult videos taken off the internet. I believe this is unfair to the millions who watch and appreciate said videos, it is also unfair to the billions of people who post stuff on the internet and can never get it off. Her claim of it being a stupid mistake is silly, she knew what she was doing, she was a consenting adult who made many videos. Many many celebrities have shameful videos of them on the internet, but once they’re out there, they are out there. Why does Mia Khalifa deserve to have her videos taken down? She did videos for too long to say it was a mistake, she also made her name off of it. If it weren’t for her adult film acting, she would never be famous, or have the backing of millions of people to push her petition through. So this goes out to all the people who stand for equality, why should one person be able to have all of their content taken off the internet, when so many others are forced to live in shame with the proof of what they’ve done everywhere? We have to fight for what we believe in, we have the power to change the world, one step at a time. We must combine forces and unite as community and as a planet.
