Seagulls get so much abuse and hatred for being scavengers. Why are they scavengers? Because humans take more food than they need. The worldwide fishing industry employs around 200 million people, generating £60 billion per year! That's a lot of fishing. Globally, about 30% of food is thrown away. Humans take all this food from other animals, simply to waste it! We are so greedy, and then hate on other animals for having to struggle to get their own food. What makes humans think they are superior!? I have seen so much abuse towards seagulls, why do people hate them?? Cuz they steal food? The food was already stolen by humans, who don't need it. They do.

I have seen people intentionally hurt, chase away and even kill seagulls, with no good reason. This morning, I saw someone chase away a seagull, into the road. The seagull, had one foot. It was an open wound. This seagull was chosen away, to nearly get hit by a car, because it came closer than a few metres from this man. It's not like he was even trying to steal the food, he simply walked nearby.

A few months ago, a lady I saw in the park, brung her dog out. The dog chased the seagulls, And killed one. I asked her why she didn't stop her dog, and then found out that she did it on purpose! I asked her why, she said that seagulls are pests. This innocent animals life has just been savagely demolished, because a human thought that it was a pest. Shows what she knows!

Please sign this petition to stop seagull hate, no one expects you to kiss a seagull and feed it dinner. But just don't hate them, or attack them. Seagull lives matter. I'm going to start hanging posters to stop seagull harm. A change is nescessary. If the petition fails, seagulls will die out fast. I forgot it doesn't, we could co-exist. Don't slaughter an animal for trying to survive by itself, its better than we manage.

Be warned, some images might be triggering, They show injuries from when a woman put food into the road to attract seagulls And then intentionally ran them over. She admitted to it. That wouldn't have slipped if it was a human!! Notice how there are multiple injured seagulls in the road in the first part of the image.

Honestly, you search up 'seagull' on the web, you will see pages titled 'seagulls are the devil incarnate,' 'seagulls deserve nothing,' 'seagulls kill.' I'm not even exaggerating. Out of the first four seagull pages that showed, those were three. The other one was the seagull Wikipedia page. Now that reputation sucks. There aren't worse things in the world which are loved and considered. Much worse.
