The Issue

"One Day at a Time" is an american TV series that premiered in 2017 and follows the lives of a Cuban-American family consisting of Penelope Alvarez, the mother who served in Afghanistan and is now practicing medicine; Lydia Riera, the pround and loving grandmother and Elena and Alex, Penelope's kids. Together with Schneider, the friendly landlord, and Dr. Leslie Berkowitz, Penelope's kind boss, they go through through all sorts of events and problems... one day at a time.

The show gained popularity thanks to the way it tackles with various problems of our world such as racism and sexism.

In 2019, the show got cancelled by Netflix after it's third season, upsetting all of it's fans. Thankfully, the show was given another chance when Pop TV picked it up. Although the show continues to do amazing, there is yet a serious problem about the fourth season: the theme song at the benning of each episode has been drastically shortened featuring only the first and last words of the original ("This is it..."/"One Day at a Time").

The original theme song was emblematic and extremly enjoyable, not to mention that it also gave the show a certain flair and it must be brought back!
