Make 'Country of Origin' food labelling clear and legible

Make 'Country of Origin' food labelling clear and legible
The issue
Country of Origin food labelling on food products sold in Australia is confusing, misleading, and hard to read.
Current Australian law does not enforce food sellers to display information about where all ingredients are sourced in a manner that is clear and legible to ordinary Australians. They often skirt the law by putting up the green and gold kangaroo logo with less than half of the ingredients coming from Austalia. They do this because they know most people can't read the details but can see the logo.
The solution to the problem is to strengthen the policy instrument used to guide vendors on what is required for the country of origin labelling. I reckon we need to make a minimum font size of 12pt on any information pertaining to where the product is made and packed. We did it with Cigarette labelling, surely we can do it with food.
If you want to see how much effort went into writing such a poorly worded law, check out Part 4 of section 28 in paragraph 2a on the link below

Next time you go into a supermarket, try and read the label and see if it is immediately obvious. Currently, they use a logo and a bar to indicate what percentage is Australian made. Often the small print is unreadable. Too many products have a green and gold logo and only have 10% Australian ingredients. Companies are sucking in Aussies to buy stuff that is barely got anything to do with Australia.
According to The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, 55% of the total population have one or more long-term eye conditions, it's even worse for older people, see here:
