Political Expression is NOT a crime. Sign here to support Skigh Johnson.

The Issue

Sign this petition to a help our fellow comrade Skigh Johnson, fight her guilty sentence for taping pro Palestine messages onto a Starbucks window in Toronto, ON, November of 2023. Following Skigh's arrest she was doxxed, fired from her job, and placed under a 4.5 month 15 hour/day-night time house arrest. In December of 2024 the Judge found Skigh guilty for her charges of mischief and interference of property and will be facing sentencing in early 2025. In recent news we have noticed that Palestine protesters arrested for similar and more severe charges have been released on absolute discharges while others wait to face their fate. Please sign this petition to show your support for Skigh Johnson. Whether you yourself have ever participated in taping signs onto a business while demonstrating your political expression, or if you feel as if being sentenced as criminally guilty for basic political expression is simply not a cause to be labelled as a criminal, sign this petition to help make a difference for all activists in Canada moving forward. Skigh's lawyer is requesting to receive the results of this petition before Friday therefore, please keep in mind the urgency of this petition and thank you for supporting!
