The Issue

In Schenectady NY during an arrest, I was handcuffed and laid on my stomach by Schenectady police officers. At this time on my stomach I was attacked by a k9 german shepherd while officers sat on my back. I was compliant and didn't resist arrest at all during my arrest. The officer who held the k9 let the dog bite into my neck, shoulder and back. The event lasted over 30 seconds with officers trying to pry the dog off of me but couldn't for a while and didnt know what to do at all. It seemed like forever for the time it lasted. After they were able to get the dog off of me, the officer then put me in a squad car bleeding out and tried to bring me to the police station instead of the hospital. I felt that was wrong but was unable to say that due to the severity of my wounds and a loss of blood. I lost consciousness at this time and woke up on the sidewalk with the officer telling me to hold on an ambulance was coming. Which should of been the case in the 1st place but wasn't. Sounds crazy right! These officers edited the video and claimed it was due to them being new with the technology so there's a gap in some of the video. But I know what happened and took place on that day. We have incidents that occur all the time with those who take the oath to protect and serve US that is wrong and unfortunately true but not on video. Thank GOD some of mine was, though they did everything in their power to dispose of that. It's time for a change and it starts with Policing The Police.
