I live in Wapakoneta Ohio, and a member of Change.org     I had an amazing american bulldog. Well my wife and I are dog lovers to the extreme. For months my stepdaughter who is 16 years of age has kicked the dog numoerous times for just being in her way. Well months after months of the dog turning the other cheek, he had enough and bit her. 

My story, Jan 5th 2011      A day i will never, forget.

My wife at this time was bringing me lunch at work. My stepdaughters boyfriend pulled a knife out telling my stepson who is 14 he was going to kill the dog. Tyson was his name. My stepdaughter and her boyfriend ran out the door. My 5 year old, my other two stepdaughters and my stepson were in the house with Tyson. He just sat there with the other kids.. they were petting him and everything. My 16 year old stepdaughter and her boyfreind called the police. Well they came and surrounded my house. Beating on windows to get the dogs attetion. Yes dogs, the american bulldog tyson, and two boxers. The cops went to the bedroom window and told the kids to stay there and dont move. My stepson who is 14 told the cops we can get out if you want us out, We are fine the dogs are fine. At this time, OFFICER PLACE seen the dog( Tyson)  who bit my stepdaughter come in and check on the kids. They petted the dog right there in front of her. She said no dont move you all stay right there!! The cops started tapping and knocking on the windows again. They said to icolate the dogs.

This is at night time its dark. What is a dog going to do it someone is outside a house and the dog does not reconize them?? They are going to bark, grawl, show teeth. AGAIN Tyson walks in the kids room to make sure the kids are ok, with the other two boxers. Who I mind you are doing the same thing... Barking grawling at the officers outside thru a closed window.

A friend of mine and my wife seen lights at the house. He stopped and asked what was going on. The cop said to him, a kid was bit we are shooting a dog. He said you might want to wait till the owner gets home. He was told he needed to leave. He said to them, i am not on the property. I am merly on the sidewalk. He was told again or he will be arrested after an officer placed his hand on his shoulder and nugged him and told him to leave. He said ok you aint got to touch me.. and he walked away. My front room (( livingroom )) the lights were off. The officer ****  LT. TRUSDALE *** stood on one of my patio chairs pointed his gun downward  at a closed window and fired a shot. I hitting Tyson in the chest. That bullet went thru my window thru Tyson hitting my entrence way tile and rickashaied acrossed the room. My other stepdaughter who was upstairs was walking down the stairs she was 10 feet from the window, the direction of the pointing gun. They walked in went to walk over tyson to step on my stairway steps. Tyson tried to get up (((( HE TRIED ))))**. OFFICER PLACE ** Pulled her tazer out and pointed and shot. Sending 1200-1400 votz to him for 35 seconds. Tyson cried out... my kids who were in the bedroom heard him. My 5 year old stepson asked my 10 year old stepdaughter whats wrong with tyson. After the tazer tyson realized something was not right.. he was loosing contousness. He felt pain.. and there were 4 people in the house they have never been.... his thoughts (((( PROTECT THE KIDS AT ALL COST!! )))) he tried to get up again... ((((again he tried))))*** OFFICER PLACE *** reloaded her tazer gun and fired again. for another 35 seconds. Tyson cried out again.. his head and body locked up near our stairway steps. His head by the steps he opened his mouth and bit down on the steps.. Mind each of my steps are about an inch thick.... (( EACH ))   from the 1200-1400 voltage he bit clean thru it. still... teeth groves are still visable.  This is where Tyson took his last breath.

When I got here about 10 mins after the execution of my dog. I walked in to only see my dog in a bloody pool of blood. The officers apoun approch tried to talk to me but i pushed thru to get to my wife and kids. My wife was in tears bawling. My kids were put into the SUV.  I was told 3 different stories about how they killed my dog. I did not find out till they released the report.  I was told they shot my dog.. tazered him twice and then shot my dog again. The last shot was a bullet to the head.  When I walked in they had my dog by his legs and just dropped his ass in a black back. YES JUST DROPPED HIM IN THE BACK (((( THUD )))  is what you could hear. THEN THEY JUST SEARCH MY LIVINGROOM WITHOUT ASKING MOVING MY COUCH STANDS EVERYTHING> looking for the bullet.!!!   The bullet they never found and that I HAVE!!!!

Well, I asked them, are you all going to clean this up. They told me no, I had to clean up my dog and the blood. I went back outside to speak to the officer who shot my dog. LT. TRUSDALE .  I asked him 4 times WHY DID YOU SHOOT MY DOG!!!??? he just kept saying well its a choice i made.  Apon cleaning my dog up after the cops left. I wanted his collar.  I pulled half his body out of the bag, held his head up and I told him that i was so very sorry, and that I loved him. Running my hand over his head ... petting him.. I did not notice any NO blood on his head. It was all on his chest.  Thinking of it.. they shot him in the chest,,,, tazered him twice killing him..They called me about 45 mins after I had everything cleaned up and ready to take Tyson to his final resting place. The cops told me they needed the dog for rabies test. My wife got on the phone and told them no, you can call our vet who is 24 ours he just had his shots about a month ago. They said we will need the dog anyways.  They took him and for people who dont know, to do a rabbies test you need just the head of the anamil to test the brain. They said he can have Tyson back when the test was done. two days later they called said he was clean((( NO SHIT))) i said.. After about a week I called                                       (((   **** RUSS BAILY ****))) who is an X-cop who is now our dog warden. He told me the dog was already desroyed.  I called around trying to find who examined my dog. When I found out who, I talked to the person who examined my dog, he told me there was no bullet hole to the head.. MY HEART SANK!!!! HE REALLY DID SUFFER !!! HE FELT SOOO MUCH PAIN!!!!! THATS WHY THEY WANTED TO DOG!!! HID THE EVIDENCE!!!!

OHIO LAW STATES IF YOU WOUND A DOG SHOOT A DOG, you are to in seconds walk up put a gun behind his head and pull the trigger so that the dog will not suffer.    He suffered... He suffered the thought he might not be able to protect his family, he suffered a gun shot, he suffered being tazed twice, suffered that he will never get to see anyone of us again, and I have suffered.... loosing... my bestfriend.  I have also suffered having my 5 year old stepson hate cops.  About 1 week after this happened I walked in on him in our computer room, He had his stuffed dog in the computer chair leaning over it ... holding his fingers like a gun, and making soft gun sounds. I asked him what are you doing?? he looked like he was caught doing something bad.. I said to him, are you shooting the bad people? He said yes, im shooting police....

Help me with this petition to see something done. its been 6 months and not one thing has happened to Officer Place or Lt. Trusedale.. WHO SHOULD NOT BE CARRING A GUN!!!  I plan to take this petition to our town mayor.
