Hi my name is ______________ and I’m a concerned citizen. I’ve been informed that our Chief of Police, Rick Scott, is being forced out of the position he’s been in for over 15 years. He’s been on the force for 23 years and on the Fire Department for 20 years. He has held a position on both departments! He has been selfless for his entire career. He has missed birthdays, school events, and major milestones to go to a call. He has helped you with your heart attack, he has helped you with a death, or been there to assist you when you had a car accident. He runs the DARE Program. He has coached our children and helped with stray animals—He has been a pillar in our community for decades and needs to remain one.  

He recently became a K9 officer to help his community which then expanded to Mechanicsville and Mount Vernon. He has went through all the extensive training to become a K9 officer to help our towns. 

  Replacing Officer Scott would be an injustice to our City of Lisbon and our community. We feel that our community should not be shut out of these proceedings involving matters as important as who protects our citizens.
