In 2008, Matt Lynch investigated a situation, involving Richard Martin and Kim Lam.

Mr. Martin was a completely innocent victim. He was benevolently attempting to reconcile and propose to Ms. Lam. Ms. Lam had intentionally emotionally abused Mr. Martin for years, causing him to be extremely confused and suffer from PTSD.

Ms. Lam was angry at Mr. Martin for rejecting her and revealing to her family that her former boyfriend had been convicted of a drug-related offense. Matt Lynch allowed Ms. Lam to use himself and the Montgomery County Police to further abuse Mr. Martin.

Ms. Lam's eldest brother, Hong, was helping Mr. Martin to reunite with Ms. Lam. Because he was an exculpatory witness, Matt Lynch hid the existence of Hong and did not provide any statements of Hong in his police reports. This was an act of fraud.

Matt Lynch applied for a search warrant, described by one lawyer as the most "bullshit" he'd ever seen. He used this warrant to come to Mr. Martin's residence to terrorize him.

Furthermore, Matt Lynch charged Mr. Martin with serious felonies without probable cause.

Matt Lynch is a bad cop. Matt Lynch should be immediately terminated from the Montgomery County Police Department for his unlawful behavior.
