We have one train that calls to Polesworth station every morning at 6.51. Wouldn’t it be so much easier if this station was back up and running how it used to be! 

There has been hundreds of new houses built in Polesworth and the surrounding areas it makes sense to have this form of transport back available and on our doorstep. People who want to get the train currently have to go to Atherstone or Tamworth to be able to get one. 

The only people that can make this happen is the local people who want this service to be available. 

Polesworth station has been listed in the Birmingham news saying that it is classed as a ‘ghost’ station as only 3 passengers a day use the service! 

If there were more trains running to the station this figure would be so much higher!
