I have been a fan of Pokémon since I was five years old. Yet I find Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield to be absolutely horrendous in their current state. People have been trying to express their disappointment to GameFreak, but they have stated they are not interested in fixing any part of their rushed cash grabs. At this point, the only way to show them we want change is to show them we won’t but what we don’t want.

While it is true that many people will buy these games, if we can reduce the income they produce, GameFreak will start paying attention. Currently GameFreak are focusing almost all their efforts on this side project called Town. They only bother with Pokémon anymore because it makes them money. If they realize fans won’t simply accept half-assed games like these, they will put in effort to keep Pokémon as their cash cow.

Let’s try to fix Pokémon in the easiest and best way possible. Not buying it.
