Bring Back Serena to the Pokemon Anime!

Bring Back Serena to the Pokemon Anime!
Why this petition matters
I think it's fair of me to say, that the XY&Z series was one, if not the best Pokemon anime we've had. Period. Many people were always moved and inspired by such great action packed episodes. Although it was intended that a kiss from Serena to Ash took place in the last episode, many people are left uncertain with Ash's point of view. Let me explain:
It was very expected, and made a powerful impact on the audience. I've re-watched that scene countless times and I still feel touched by the emotion every single time.
But as for my perspective of Ash's point of view, it's very unclear of his thoughts of what happened. He did smile after, while waving goodbye to Serena (which is expected, as friends always wish other friends the best of luck).
My goal of this petition is to offer our thanks to the Pokemon company for making such a great storyline, with amazing character development, but also to request a small but simple solution to all the fans who are dying to see more Serena & Ash.
Here's my solution:
(Hopefully during a season later on, when the shows art style starts to improve, hopefully heading back to the XYZ art style)...
Include a short scene, maybe 5 minutes, something very small but can impact the show positively. Within this short scene, include Ash in a call with serena, (as we see with Ash and professor oak) where they have finally made contact again. Sharing their recent achievements and dreams. Until someone brings up the "kiss". It could be a very shy/sensitive topic in the moment, but eventually leading on to the point where either there's CONFIRMATION of them meeting up for another journey (maybe season after) or a more reasonable solution, that Ash confirms that he WILL go back to her in the end. Ash confessing how he feels about Serena would make for an unbelievably fascinating moment that many fans, old and new, will be proud of him.
Keep in mind, I do realize this show is made for everyone, so it must be appropriate, but doing something small like this can "revive" many, and I mean MANY fans.
Final thoughts and additions.
Ash should definitely start maturing, many not to the point that he is a 16 year old but old enough to notice some hints. It's totally unrealistic, even for an anime show, for a kid to be 10 years old, not understanding any hints at all, but being able to create battle strategies and combos that are ridiculously intelligent. (this of course is excluding the black and white series, as many terrible decisions were made, but that could be considered his turning point, where he finally grows a bit)
