Calamity break for PMMS students
The Issue
We, the students of Philippine Merchant Marine School stands with an appeal for Academic Break this week (November 16-21, 2020) for the reason of what's passing on in our country. This appeal involves being compassionate and empathetic to our Kabayans and fellow students who are currently coping with the effect of Typhoon Rolly and Typhoon Ulysses. Furthermore, the negligence of the national government in resolving typhoon issues and addressing academic concerns. We call for academic breaks, leniency, and adjustment of the academic calendar; There are expected to be concrete plans. We are encouraging you to join the media platforms petition. The objective of this is to reach out and hear the complaints of our fellow PMMS-Manila students. With this, we are optimizing our social media network by building up our voices as students for students.
