Dear Friends and Patriots,

This petition is to highlight and reverse the gross injustice being meted out to certain employees of Air India who were fired on August 13, 2020 at 11.31

I am Anant Maheshwari, brother of Capt. Aditya Maheshwari, who has been serving the nation as a pilot with India for over years. Aditya, my brother, along with many other pilots of Air India, was flying for Air India during the pandemic at a great risk to himself. He flew to different countries and states to bring back citizens of this nation to their homes. For this he was also asked to quarantine himself for about 12 days.

Aditya is a relentless patriot who'd be willing to do anything for his country. And even after being paid delayed salary, no PF and gratuity by the company along with paycuts he continued to work with Air India as it's a PSU and he was always better serving the country here. With this thought in his heart and despite the offensive by the company as they after his multiple requests about the PF he withdrew his resignation within the notice period. And continued to fly for Air India.
Aditya had resigned from Air India and was serving a six month notice period as per Directorate General of Civil Aviation requirements. Air India never responded to his requests for withdrawal of resignation neither to its acceptance, while he continued to fly for the company.

Now on 13th August along with 56 other pilots was terminated overnight of his duties, even though the matter was under the judicial review, as Air India has been forcefully denying withdrawal of resignation in order to save costs. Even though they continued failing for cutting employees provident fund for 10 years, despite my brother's numerous requests to do the same. As not doing so by the company is also a criminal offence.
The atrocities on it's employees by Air India, who have been thoroughly serving the nation, do not stop here. As the matter was under judicial review in the Hon’ble Delhi High Court the company's management decided to also terminate pilots who's resignation withdrawals they had already accepted. Adding more pilots to the number of termination and thus saving more cost, meanwhile settling a score.

I request you humbly to please sign this petition and save these heroes from being unemployed for no reason. These pilots have served this country like our soldiers do. Many of us are blessed to be brought safely to our homes in these difficult times. It's our time to be grateful and help them save their jobs so that in future as well they can continue saving this nation.
