"Patient coverage has been terminated." This when I tried to refill a costly prescription. Covered for decades without incident by WorkSafeBC, until now. No verbal or written notification, and of course no notification of my right to appeal their decision. This as a result of a horrific workplace accident that occurred shortly after my honourable discharge from the Canadian Forces and the multiple injuries I sustained in the service of Canada. I had 16 hours of reconstructive surgery, and did 17 days in the Burns and Plastics Unit. Where I flat lined once, required a blood transfusion, developed double pneumonia, contracted a preventable 'super-bug' type infection, and had a partial recovery measured in years. Based on my well documented experiences WorkSafeBC and it's defending agencies- WCAT, BC Ministry of Labour Workers' Advisors Office[multiple counts of fraud], and Officers of the BC Legislature; are equals to Veterans Affairs Canada, and their defending agency VRAB, and Officers of Parliament. Equals that is when we speak of alleged wide spread administrative and criminal corruption. They don't even try to hide it now. Premiers John Horgan and now David Eby, Solicitor General Mike Farnworth, and their co-opted- in my opinion based on my experiences- law enforcement partners consider such issues to be a "civil matter" and none of their concern.
