The Issue

Support pro-choice Democratic women candidates who will continue the legacy of women in office!

Since the first woman was elected to Congress in 1916, we’ve learned one thing: When women are at the table, they accomplish great things. In the last decade alone, we’ve seen Democratic women help pass historic legislation that works to grow our middle class and protect families. 

  1. Democratic women helped pass the Affordable Care Act, expanding health care coverage to millions of Americans.
  2. Women in the House and Senate stood their ground to pass the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, the first bill signed into law by President Obama.
  3. Women like Elizabeth Warren are leading the charge to reform student loans, fighting for students’ access to affordable education. 

If we want a Congress that will work for Americans, we have an answer: We need to elect more women who will continue to fight for us everyday.
