Please support 2 bills that will help keep abusive and negligent veterinarians accountable

We're pet parents who lost our furbabies due to negligent, abusive and/or incompetent veterinarians. The AZ Veterinary Board is known for 'looking the other way', and laws consider our beloved pets as property. Bogie (my little guy in the picture), happily walked into a vet's office. He came home panting, crying, and I had to carry and syringe feed him until he died a couple of weeks later. The vet did a procedure without my knowledge or consent. Two other examples of ignored vet abuse (out of multitudes), include: A vet euthanized pets in the back room with bleach, then stuffed them alive, in plastic bags - still practicing. A vet neutered numerous male dogs without anesthesia - still practicing. These vets gained the trust of pet parents (like us), and betrayed that trust, leaving us grieving and feeling guilty - and they're allowed to continue - with more unsuspecting pet parents and our furbabies. A State Representative has stepped up to help by drafting two bills - one to reorganize the vet board, and one for more accountability in vets. Passing these bills will be a victory for AZ, and set precedence for other states. The bills are up for vote in late January. Please sign this petition for justice for Bogie, Benny, Thor, and the others who suffered, and could continue to suffer, at the hands of those we trusted. Thank you
