The genocide being carried out in Gaza is a despicable war crime and the US and UK are complicit. I am not aligned to any political organisation. I am a grandmother and a humanitarian. I despair with the guilt and shame of this terrible legacy of a war torn world that I will be leaving to my children, grandchildren and future generations. Will they ever experience the days of flower power love and peace of the 70’s. We had HOPE and the desire to share peace and love for ALL human beings regardless of colour, creed or religion. As sentient human beings we instinctively know this inhumane genocide in Gaza is indescribably abhorrent. The retaliation on Gaza after the October 7th attack on Israel is beyond disproportionate, 30,000 innocent children alone have been killed in Gaza and still continuing. It would appear that Israel will not relent until every civilian is either annihilated or displaced from the Gaza Strip. Can you imagine a country roughly similar in size to Wales which I believe has a population of 3 million or thereabouts, withstanding the constant bombing bombardment, and use of artificial intelligence weapons to pinpoint and destroy people in their homes.  The destruction of hospitals, killing aid workers on the ground who were trying to get injured children into ambulances and the raising of buildings to the ground? This is what the tiny Gaza Strip has sustained and is still struggling to withstand , it’s unimaginable!! There is nowhere to escape for the Palestinian people they have been abandoned by Western governments , they have become dispensable through no fault of their own. Can we even begin to imagine their suffering, it’s incomprehensible.

 

With this becoming a regional war with Iran now being involved, we could be heading towards a Third World War.

Both Biden and the Iranians are well aware that Netanyahu would ideally like to destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities, which he has long seen as an existential threat to Israel. Reducing them to rubble would be very hard without US help, but it is possible that he and other Israeli hawks could try to seize this opportunity to deliver that ambition.

PLEASE DO NOT LET THIS WAR MACHINE CONTINUE AND LET IT BE KNOWN THAT YOU WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS GENOCIDE. 

Mainstream news cannot cover the depth of involvement by our complicit governments and the fact that we are supplying weapons to torture, kill, maim and starve our fellow human beings. Please, if you can, source  online ‘Double Down News’ who in my opinion give true in depth journalistic coverage of what’s actually taking place. Huge protests worldwide against this genocide is being ignored and suppressed by the governments who support Israel.
