Our children should attend the school closest to our homes and a school that is a part of the school pyramid our children will attend for high school and middle school. We are petitioning for our streets to be rezoned for Vienna Elementary School. The school we are currently zoned for, Freedom Hill Elementary, is a split feeder school. 90% of the kids attending Freedom Hill will go on to Kilmer and Marshall, while the town of Vienna residents will have to switch to a whole new pyramid, Thoreau and Madison. This will require them to make all new friends in 7th grade, which is a critical time in their development.
