Cormega Copening is a child. He does not deserve to go to jail and tried as an adult. I think maybe a slap on the wrist is more than enough to punish him. He will have to register as a sex offender. He is not that at all.

The Issue
I have been reading/seeing this story about a young boy named Cormega Copening. He is being tried as an adult for "sexting" with his girlfriend. The age of consent is 16, so why is he being charged? We all make mistakes but he does not deserve this. He will have to register as a sex offender. It will ruin his life. He will not be able to go to college, or get a decent job. I have sons and God forbid they do something like this.
