Hello Tammie Goodson ("Lawson" was her married name) Supporters,
Thank you so much for the great support you are showing! She has over 200 signatures in less than 2 days! Please keep it up!
Tammie received an email from the Virginia Governor's office and the full contents of the email (except Tammie's email address) is below.
The email suggests that Tammie contact several legal services to seek help. While she has not contacted the offices mentioned below, she has contacted other offices in the past and they have offered very little help. She was even told to write the Virginia Supreme Court (which she did) and they not only refused to help her, they issued her a fine. She will reach out to these new offices and prays that they will help.
Despite these challenges, your support has Tammie on cloud 9! She asks for you to please continue sharing her petition and to pray for her, if you are a person of faith.
We continue to believe that if people show that they care about justice (by signing and sharing this petition) then someone in authority will help her.
Tammie would like to especially thank those who decided to donate to spread her petition. She didn't expect anyone to donate and is grateful for all of the help and support.
She humbly asks you to share her story with media personalities, podcasters, radio show hosts, etc to help get the word out. Although Tammie is shy about speaking in public, she is willing to do interviews to share her story. No mother or grandmother should ever face these hardships.
Tammie will also submit her case to the Virginia Innocence Project! Thank you for the great suggestion from one of the petition signers! They are very backed up at the moment, but we won't give up on justice.
Lastly, Tammie is not a political person, but Virginia is having an election this year and she will submit this petition to the next administration, if the current one refuses to help her. She does not endorse any party or candidate and believes in people who are willing to help others. We hope you do too!
Stay blessed!
