A four-mile (or more) race with many fences along the way is too demanding for horses and many are regularly fatally injured and have to be destroyed at race-courses around the world in front of their morbid spectators.

Flagship race events like the Grand National and the Cheltenham Festival in Britain are just two where this cruel ‘entertainment’ occurs with often tragically fatal results.

This is clearly a cruel and unnecessary activity that has been accepted as a ‘sport’. This so-called ‘sport’ should be stopped immediately.
