I would like to address several problems which need to be resolved in my neighborhood:

     In our homeowners association policy it is stated that an owner of condominium is responsible for damages which are made to them by their neighbor. This policy is unfair to the homeowner. Some condominium owners do not care about their neighbor’s property.  I have been living in my apartment for 8 years and have received damage from my second floor neighbor four times and I had to cover all expenses. This policy needs to be changed so responsible party homeowners insurance covers cost of damages.

    My neighborhood has only 1 cable and internet provider which is Comcast. Comcast being the only provider takes advantage of the situation and raises our prices. They also lower our internet speeds because they don’t have any competition so we can’t change providers. We need more choices for providers in our neighborhood. That way comcast won't take advantage of us and we will have fair pricing and a good selection of services. The people responsible for making this happen is our homeowners association. They need to change this policy so we have fair pricing and a good range of services and providers to choose from.

   By talking with my neighbors I speculate that one of board members is not representing our interests. Mrs Eileen Fisher is lady who is bored and mean, selecting certain people who she doesn’t like. She is especially tormenting towards immigrants neighbors. She complains about and looks for ridiculous excuses to make people’s lives worse. We don’t deserve such a person in our board, we would like to have a person who can see that all of us are making the best to make our spaces pleasent to live in.  We understand our responsibilities, all of us have many problems and don’t like to get ridiculous letters from the board like myself recently about my “flammable objects”.

 My last concern is about cameras in our spaces. I don’t know if we have any regulations about it or not but all of us deserve to feel safe.  I am single mother, living on first floor and I’ve had some of my property stolen. Me and some of my neighbors have had unexpected guests on ours balconies. Several cars have been stolen from and several cars had scratches and deflated tires. To insure our safety I would like to have regulation in place to allow us to keep cameras and other safety devices in our spaces.
