William Gibson is a uniquely entertaining and prescient writer. 

His novels have prefigured so much about the world today including how we increasingly live online and the insidious influence of global corporations and billionaires.

Gibson's voice is a necessary one. However, for the past nine months, it has been absent on Bluesky, which is the best alternative to Elon Musk's extremist version of Twitter. 

We are asking him to come back to Bluesky!

Anyone who has read Gibson's work knows that none of the heroes in his novels would want to be trapped in some centibillionaire's political project. They would be on an alternative like Bluesky.

Gibson is one of our literary heroes and we need him in the thriving sci fi and fantasy community on Bluesky. 

We, the undersigned are fans of good literature and denizens of the internet. We are humbly, kindly reaching through the networks to Mr. Gibson and asking him to return to Bluesky.
