Please put fluoride back in the drinking water for the entire state of Florida! It is very beneficial for people's oral health.  It helps to keep people’s gums and teeth healthy. It is extremely beneficial to preventing cavities and other related dental issues.  Given that fluoride was originally added to drinking water to combat dental problems like tooth decay, we are worried about what will happen if fluoride is now removed from drinking water in Florida.  What will happen to pediatric and adult dental health if the benefits of fluoride are no longer available? Without the added benefits of fluoride in our drinking water, how do we maintain healthy teeth and gums and good dental hygiene?  Dental professionals agree that the trace amounts of fluoride added to drinking water are safe and extremely critical in maintaining healthy teeth!  Residents in the entire state of Florida are now negatively impacted by this new law! Now is the time to act to get fluoride added back into the drinking water of the state of Florida! We need to do this as soon as possible before everyone's dental health begins to deteriorate due to the removal of fluoride from our drinking water.  As citizens, we should have the opportunity to vote on matters that directly impact our health and future medical costs. This new law to remove fluoride was passed without this opportunity. Even individual counties that wanted to keep fluoride in their drinking water were unable to continue this health benefit for their communities.   Please give Florida citizens the opportunity to make informed choices. Please continue to add fluoride to our drinking water, until this issue can be added to the Florida ballot as an amendment for a general vote during the next election.
