Dear Nardin Together Community,
As we gather to commemorate Memorial Day, a day of remembrance and gratitude for the sacrifices made by our brave men and women in uniform, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the strength and resilience that our school community embodies.
Over the last several days, the following developments have occurred:
Parents of 122 children have pledged to withhold over $2,100,000.00 in tuition payments until the Chair and the members of the Executive Search Committee of the Board of Trustees resign or are removed. Once this change in leadership occurs, these parents have committed to submit their tuition deposits and payments immediately. (See chart below)
In a show of solidarity and support for these families who have called for this change in leadership. Nardin Together is coordinating pledges from alums and friends to be donated once this change occurs. Please note that funds are not being collected, instead, promises to donate after this change in leadership occurs.
If you are interested in joining parents in this call for change, we invite you to pledge your donation by completing the Nardin Together form below:
We are grateful and inspired to inform you that many donors of Nardin Academy have advised of their intention to restore more than $1,000,000.00 in commitments to the Called to Connect campaign that is being withheld due to concerns regarding the school leadership and the direction of the Academy. Contingent upon the resignation or removal of the Chair and members of the Executive Search Committee, these pledges will be immediately reactivated. The Called to Connect campaign is Nardin's most ambitious fundraising effort.
We will keep you informed on any new developments and hope you can take some time with your family and enjoy the beautiful weather. Thank you for your continued support.
With sincere gratitude,
Martha Mangan '81 and Therese Forton-Barnes '81 on behalf of Nardin Together
