Please see below correspondence from parents representing 117 students of Nardin Academy, many of whom are part of Nardin Together, pledging to withhold their deposits and scheduled tuition payments until there is a change of leadership of the Board of Trustees. Nardin Together joins these parents of Nardin in demanding an immediate change in leadership.

To Elizabeth Dodge, U.S. Provincial, DHM and Nardin Board of Trustees;
The undersigned, parents of students of Nardin Academy, pledge to withhold tuition deposits and scheduled payments totaling in excess of two million dollars for the 2023-2024 school year until there is a change in the leadership of the Board of Trustees (see below). These pledges demonstrate the loss of confidence and trust in the Board of Trustees, which will only be restored by the immediate resignation of the Board Chair and the members of the Search Committee who were ultimately responsible for the hiring of Sandra Betters as President, which led to the current untenable situation.
It is respectfully requested that the Daughters of the Heart of Mary consider and accept the resignations of these Trustees, or alternatively, that the Daughters of the Heart of Mary consider asking for the resignations of these Trustees, effective May 31, 2023. It is only after these changes occur that true healing and growth can occur.
The last two years have been incredibly disruptive, and the Nardin Community deserves a future devoid of divisive leadership. It is important to return to the mission and principles of the Daughters of the Heart of Mary so that Nardin Academy can continue to inspire hearts and minds to do amazing things for the world through faith, character, academic excellence, and service for years to come.
