Dear “Nardin Together” - 

As Nardin parents were notified yesterday, the Superior General of the Society of the Daughters of the Heart of Mary, Carmen Vergara, has decreed that there will be an entirely new Board to lead Nardin through the healing process and into the future. This is an affirmation of all that we have been working towards. 

We are extremely grateful for the support, input, action, encouragement, prayer and plain hard work from so many people over the past 8 weeks. At every obstacle, and there were quite a few, so many worked tirelessly and enthusiastically to overcome them; we were humbled how there was never an instance when we asked for help and someone always stepped up. The support we received was immense from here in Buffalo and across the country. 

We also would like to thank all the people that have no connection to Nardin that have reached out to us for support, in addition to all the others that sent us messages, emails and phone calls with ideas or just to lend a helping hand.

Our appreciation also goes out to the Daughters of the Heart of Mary(DHM) for their leadership, prayer and guidance. Below is their website if you would like to know more about the DHM. 

And to the outgoing board, we wish you the best moving forward and hope you can still support the Nardin community. 

While it was unfortunate that Nardin had to go through this experience, the crisis facilitated the collaboration of all of us to become Nardin Together. Nardin Together represents an incredible group of people - parents, faculty, alumni, students and concerned community members who will continue to support and guide Nardin Academy well into the future.
