Adding Tetherball Courts in Pleasanton Parks

Adding Tetherball Courts in Pleasanton Parks
Why this petition matters
I absolutely love playing tetherball in school. The problem is that I am in fifth grade and next year I'll be in middle school. In middle school, there are no tetherball courts. I know that most of the fifth graders who play tetherball at my school are going to be heartbroken, like me, when we can't play next year. It's already been difficult since we all missed a year and a half of tetherball because of COVID19 and distance learning. In my case, I missed two years. I would like to request that our city place tetherball courts in parks.
Tetherball helps kids stay active. To play tetherball you must be constantly moving. You run short distances from time to time. You also have to use your arms repeatedly which helps build strength. Tetherball is a game that requires us to cooperate and take turns. To win, you must have a good strategy, but also be able to think quickly on your feet. Tetherball is a game for all ages. Young kids and adults can play and enjoy this game.
A tetherball court won't take up much space in a park but will be a great addition to any park. We would appreciate it if you would add tetherball courts to public parks in Pleasanton, California. Thank you for your consideration.
