Play Your Part. Reclaim and Live uBuntu towards the Declaration of a National uBuntu Day

The Issue

Umuntu Ngumuntu Ngabantu  I am because we are.  We are all one.

THIS IS A SOUTH-AFRICAN CAMPAIGN

Since time immemorial humanity have been looking for answers for their every-day problems and how to live in peace and harmony with self, others, and their environment.

Somehow we have come to believe that the answer does not really exist.  But it does, and it finds its origins in Afrika - the Cradle of Mankind, in the ancient philosophy and way of life of uBuntu.

Even though uBuntu is Afrika's and humanity's ancient expression of the inextricable inter-connectedness of all of life, forms part of our indigenous knowledge with its history dating back to ancient Egypt and beyond, and is taken up in our Constitution, the multifaceted gem that it is does not have its true place in society as it must.

Wholly appreciated, humanity will come to know it in its fullest sense and who they really are. And issues based on our sense of separateness such as xenophobia, racism, classism, homophobia, patriarchy, gender issues, and as it finds itself at the root of every other problem including poverty, crime and corruption, and family disintegration to name a few will become something of the past.

When you support the UBUNTU DECLARATION, you will be Playing your Part in ensuring that this gift of Africa is awakened for all that it is and gains its rightful and powerful place in our lives in all of its spheres.  You will also contribute towards ensuring that a National uBuntu Day is declared and that uBuntu is taken to the global stage as part of global oneness.

Thank you for Playing your Part
