In wake of everything that is clearly going on and living through a current civil rights revolution; it is imperative that Plantation High School located in Broward County, FL changes and reforms the schools name. For those of you who are not familiar with the city, it is obviously named after a literal “plantation.” This is not appropriate, especially given the fact that Broward County schools only been integrated in 1970. The name of the school is not acceptable, and shouldn’t have been the name for so long. The time for change is now. #BLACKLIVESMATTER #AMPLIFYMELANATEDVOICES
