I choosed Tree Planting as my advocacy to be get a petition for the reason of, I want the whole community to have a good living without getting suffering from extreme heat. Lastly, Tree Planting could serve as our barrier to protect us from flood, also planting more trees could lessen the effects of Climate Change.

FLOOD

I knew that there is a particular place that had been experiencing flood, even in the place where I currently live also flooded that is in Barangay Mag-aso. Gladly, our house is a bit higher than the flood on the ground so luckily, we're somehow safe. Way back on 2016-2017, i was once from Mag-aso, but then i moved to Hiagsam. I was still a kid that time that the flood is in below on my knees, i couldn't walk properly to the flood. That was difficult for us to walk and perform the things we needed. When i moved on Hiagsam, i knew that the flood in Mag-aso is still occuring.

HEAT

Most of the students in our campus in Granja Kalinawan National High School, had sadly encountered extreme heat that causes them to collapse and even the others who have a heart condition, could be worsen and that could possibly give them trouble in breathing. Seeing them suffering and forcing theirselves to stay quiet to be not feel like a burdem and hiding it independently is honestly too sad. As a concerned student from Granja, i would like to assist them and help them.

If, we're all on the same side to cut the endless cycle of suffering from the flood and heat. We could possibly end that if our voices is heard enough to help us from it. So I voluntarily request that, we need more trees to plant in our Local place in Jaro, Leyte.

In the other hand, if I'm given the chance to speak about- not just in our local but in our GLOBAL. Our mother earth is dying little by little, that is because of the human activities. People living in Manila region is flooding that causes too many people died, people who are exposed and experiencing heat can get a severe diseases such as dehydration amd heat stroke. If the same old thing keep repeating, Climate Change is also keep repeating. Like, as if everything is always connected. 

I am on my knees to give what I want. I want a recovery, I want our community and the whole world to survive. So i'm passing this petition to be signed. If we don't want the tragedy to repeat itself, then let's plant trees.
