Keep students, teachers, and staff safe at District 202

The Issue

Covid-19 has taken the lives of about 7,500 individuals in Illinois. The state shutdown schools effective on March 17, there were 55 cases then. On July 10, there were 1,317 new cases reported and on July 19, there were 965 new cases. There is no precaution we can take to guarantee the safety and health of everyone unless we continue to learn remotely. If it wasn’t safe to attend school in March then why will it be safe in August? Please keep the students, our teachers, administrators, and staff safe as we begin another school year.
