The Elementalists was perhaps one of the more creative series in Choices. The lore was very rich and left a lot of creative freedoms for fans, with new information within each chapter. However, Book 2 has ended, and it's clear that the main story has also ended. We fans aren't ready for the main storyline to end, we're not ready to say goodbye to all the Pend Pals, including the "severe-looking" twin Atlas, there are so many plotholes we could work with on the third and fourth books, such as the High Attuned, more information regarding the Sources, and other new plot "elements"(clever play on words) we could include into the series.

Fans were expecting it to not end at Sophomore Year at Penderghast, we were hoping it would be like "The Freshman" where we at least got four major books.

GRANTED, as fans, we should do more on our part. It was obvious there was struggle within the second book when one of the Love Interests, Beckett began to be milked with the diamond scenes, almost becoming another plot element of his own (sarcasm).

Actually, there is another useful blog post lurking around as to why The Elementalists also stopped at the second book, with a spinoff now in consideration:

How PB Accidentally Sabotaged TE

This post wasn't fairly obvious to fans but it does make so much sense as to how the second book started to fail. It was far worse off with timing, in addition to Bloodbound, which is also now taking a backseat to Red Capet Diaries during the weekly releases.

Please help spread the love and awareness for an amazing series whose main storyline was just not ready to end. Give us fans some closure with at least two more books!
