After growing up and watching finding nemo many times, Pixar finally pulled through with Finding Dory. This movie was a wondrous adventure into the life of Dory before the events of Finding Nemo, and beyond this, further progressing the characters within the Pixar universe.

As good as both of these movies were I have never felt connected to any of the characters as much as I felt connected to Gerald. The spiritual relationship I experience with this character in particular is extremely powerful, I feel as if I can relate to him on so many levels, and I am not alone on this. I realise Geralds role in the movie was for some sort of comical relief but speaking for the many people who feel the same way I believe we as viewers deserve to be able to further expand our relationship with this character. 

So please Pixar, as a loyal supporter and fan of all of your works I plead that you think about the special relationship myself and many others have with this wonderful character, and deeply consider expanding the mystery that is Gerald the seal.
