Stop Palm Harbor R-5 Zoning Changes

Stop Palm Harbor R-5 Zoning Changes
The Issue
CURRENTLY, THERE ARE NO R-5 ZONED DEVELOPMENTS LOCATED IN PALM HARBOR! We are asking for your help to maintain the natural landscape, compatibility and consistency of our neighborhood!
Proposed zoning/land use changes to the 21.5-acre Noell Family LLC parcel located immediately northwest of the Innisbrook Golf Course and east of the Suncoast Primate Sanctuary are for a development plan which would be up to 78 townhomes/villas.
Problem #1 - These dwellings are estimated to generate 549 trips/day with only a single road access, which crosses over the Fred Marquis Pinellas Trail.
Problem #2 - There is no significant buffer to shield the adjacent Fred Marquis Pinellas Trail or Suncoast Primate Sanctuary.
The value of this property in its natural state far outweighs its destruction to create a cramped sub-division. The loss of this habitat and lack of regard for public safety/respect is inconceivable by responsible citizens and elected officials. This property should, and must be preserved as it is.
Please email/Call Pinellas County Zoning representatives and document your objections. zoning@pinellascounty.org (727-464-5047) **Case# ZLU 21-01. Or attend Hearings via video or in person. Hearing Dates:
BCC > April 27, 2021 6PM Magnolia Room, Florida Botanical Gardens http://www.pinellascounty.org/BCC_agenda.htm
PPC > June 9, 2021 1PM Magnolia Room, Florida Botanical Gardens
Final Action > July 13, 2021
