There is an out of hand mouse infestation in our building that has been going on for at least the better part of a year. I am a resident of 21 Eccleston Drive and have encountered up to 6 mice in one day and, despite any measures I have personally taken, it seems as though this issue is never ending. Knowing that other residents of the building have been encountering the same issue, I created this petition in order to urge Pinedale Properties to immediately address this. 

Whether or not you are as badly affected by this issue as your neighbours, this relates to all of the tenants who call 21 Eccleston their home. The responsibility lies with Pinedale Properties to ensure that their properties are safe and habitable for all residents.

According to the Toronto Public Health Department (2022), pest infestations such as this one can lead to serious health issues such as Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome (HPS), Leptospirosis and even Plague. This is not just an inconvenience; it's a potential health crisis waiting to happen.

We urge our fellow tenants at 21 Eccleston - to join us in demanding that Pinedale Properties take immediate and effective action against this mouse infestation. It's time for them to step up their game on pest control measures.
