Buddy came up to a home in Ethelsville, AL with this hook through his hind leg.  This is a popular method of training dogs for dog fighting and for tethering dogs so that they cannot escape.  This is cruel and barbaric.  This is almost certainly not the only dog in that area being tortured in this way.  The dog would not have been able to travel very far with this through his hind leg so the people responsible are near by.  The Sheriffs office did not want to take a report but the person who found the dog made them do so.  All they would do was an incident report.  They have not done one thing to try and find the people responsible.  We need law enforcement to do their jobs and find those responsible.  People who can do this are most certainly engaged in other illegal activity.
