In our generation today, many technologies and methods are progressing and innovating in the modern society with the aid of science and the rising cases of infertility of women and same sex married couples, surrogacy was accepted and discovered in the medical field.

Surrogacy became one of the greatest solution and provided offsprings to complete a basic unit of the society, a family. As time passes, surrogacy becomes more abundant and in every birth of a surrogate child, it leaves us to think, with all the boundaries and limitation of the child, the surrogate mother and the parents itself, is surrogacy a blessing or a somewhat a curse? Before going into greater depth, I wanted to define the meaning or the idea of surrogacy. Stated by Wikipedia, surrogacy is a procedure often supported by a legal settlement wherein a woman agrees to be impregnated with the reproductive cells of the parents and give birth to a child for the said parents.

Despite all the disadvantages and restrictions that are existing, surrogacy provides plenty beneficiaries for both parties which makes it a mutualistic process. We want to eliminate the misconceptions about surrogacy that causes the general public to hate and/or discriminate surrogate mothers.
