The Issue
DO YOU KNOW THAT
The punishment for animal cruelty here in our country is an imprisonment of JUST 6 months to 1 year WITHOUT a guarantee of a fine not exceeding to ₱30,000?
The proposal of this petition will be:
1 year community service WITH 1 year imprisonment
WITH a fine of not exceeding ₱50,000 (depending on the violation) For subjecting ANY ANIMAL cruelty.
We need to give those people who hurt animals what they deserve.
They SHOULD be held RESPONSIBLE.
