We parents can not take a chance on our children’s lives by letting them return to schools, and putting them in danger of possibly contracting COVID-19. They can not be asked to return to an environment where social distancing is just not possible. Children can not be expected to wear masks for prolonged school hours, nor can they carry the responsibility of all mandatory preventative measures to keep them from contracting the deadly virus. It’s our responsibility, and duty to make a decision that’s best for our children’s health and life. We can’t gamble on innocent lives. Children cannot be forced to return to schools in fall while number of COVID-19 cases are still increasing. We need vaccines to protect them from the invisible enemy before they’re asked to return to schools. Till then, we prefer our children to continue virtual learning. We want governor Phil Murphy to take a stand on protecting our children’s health. We want virtual learning to continue till we no longer fear the COVID-19 virus.
