Hi, my name is Nick Weissman and I’m a senior hockey player for the Manalapan Ice Hockey team and Jersey Penguins. Due to Governor Murphy’s recent cancellation of indoor sports, I think we should move hockey especially to the Spring Season. Hockey is different than every other sport because it doesn’t take up space in the school or on the fields. We all play out of rinks that are not located inside the school, therefore we wouldn’t be interrupting any other sports being able to compete. This would also give COVID-19 a chance to cool down and give us a few more months to flatten the curve. We all want to play our sports especially seniors in our final season, please help this reach whoever it can in order for this idea to happen.
